Hanley Landshare

Want to grow your own fruit and veg but don’t have the space or know-how?

With the generous support of land owner Lyndon Edwards, local residents can rent plots of land to grow their own fruit and vegetables, in return for sharing a percentage of their produce and an annual rental fee.

The site is 1 mile north of Tidenham, neighbouring the Hanley Farm Shop, immediately accessible from the A48. You can catch the 755 bus (to Lydney) from Chepstow Bus Station leaving at 9:11 or 11:11, and returning at 11:43 or 13:43, and it stops right outside Hanley farm shop. The 755 bus only runs Monday to Saturday, not on Sunday.

If you want to take part in the growing but don’t have the time or skills to take on a plot of your own, why not help out on the Transition Chepstow Community plot and swap your time for produce!

We meet on the first Sunday every month between 10am and midday. Look at the events page to check upcoming dates.

We look forward to showing you around!
